On June 27, 2017, the individual disarmament process of FARC-EP concluded in the municipality of Mesetas in the department of Meta, in the presence of then-president Juan Manuel Santos, FARC-EP commander Rodrigo Londoño, the UN Mission Chief in Colombia, Jean Arnault, the ambassadors of guarantor countries Cuba and Norway, and representatives of the international community, among others.
